Friday(18 July)
Met up with the =p (pronounced as Equal P) gang for dinner at Aston and The Dark Knight movie. This time, Sherraine joined us. I havn’t seen her in years!
Aston has recently opened a branch in The Cathay and the food quality there is fantastic, not to mention affordable too. I ordered a beefy jack burger and washed it down with a glass of homemade ice lemon tea. You should try it! Be warned, they still DO NOT accept reservations and we had to wait an hour and 15 minutes before we were shown to our seats. The weather didn’t help when it threatened to pour and they had to close the outdoor dining area.
The Dark Knight is a must watch. There’s irony in the title as the star is not Batman, but THE JOKER! Pity this is the last we’ll see of Heath Ledger. I cannot imagine a replacement Joker whom can evoke similar feelings to the audience. The entertainment scene has truly lost a talent. Will he be commemorated at Oscars?
Saturday(19 July)
E+E ran errands around Singapore.
In the morning, we went Tekka Market to get meats for the boys. Cola bought beef tendons. For $18 for 1.1+kg, is it overpriced? I feel like giving a hand at pork tendons but wonder if there is any preparation work before throwing into the dehydrator.
Lunch was at Long John Silver. Followed was a haircut at Hair Inn before collecting my order from Woofy’s Choice. Gave a portion to Jo, hope FE will like it. Late noon, we headed to Corpthorne Waterfront to meet A Little Dream band! Hsin Yeow’s voice is fantastic! Sadly, we have yet to find a suitable female lead voice to sing “The look of Love”, E’s condition before we hire them for the big day. I later found out I missed the Citibank 10% discount and Corpthorne Wedding Fair $50 off promos! Will Hsin Yeow extend the offer? Not pinning hopes coz I find him to be a very business minded person. But no harm giving a shot at asking. *cross fingers*
In the evening, we picked up the boys and headed to Z’s place. Unknowingly, we have formed a wives and husbands club. The wives yakked till near dawn. The husbands are “hard at work”, evident from the photo. See how serious some of them look? They all paid school fees to ONE HUSBAND. 3 pay 1! And that ONE HUSBAND did not even order breakfast for us though Cola announced MAC Breakfast has started. Sulk.
Saturday(20 July)
E+E caught a few winks before ferrying the boys to APC for their full groom. Thereafter, we headed to his parent’s place to nap. We overslept and the poor boys had to spend an extra hour in the cold cage. E sped all the way from Paya Lebar to Aljunied. Times like this, I feel that he truly love the boys. Wait, maybe its just boy, the one that starts with Z. We then had homecooked dinner and spent the night toying with the PS3.

Your bro chose very good songs! His 3 piece band is 1 singer and 2 musicians? Hsin Yeow only willing to extend the Copthorne offer to me.
