Celebration of Togetherness

Date: 26 August 2008
Time: 6.30pm
Venue: Andre Wine & Dine @ 206 Telok Ayer St

Some alcohol to kickstart the evening. It’s supposed to be a premium wine but taste flat. Thankfully, we did not order an entire bottle of it.

Caviar with sweet egg(tamago?) and pancake. The sweet and salty taste goes harmoniously well together.

You can never guess [...]

Notoriously Cohesive

That has to be DIT9906. Was so back in 1999. Am still now in 2008. 9 years of steadfast friendship dun come by everyday to anyone.
Classic moment. 3 brollys caught on camera! Tell me, who elses holds brollys to bbq under a drizzle?

Chanced upon this photo taken long long ago . A bestest ex-colleague, Ashlyn, introduced me to the world of colors. Through her persistent reassurance, I bought grey and amethyst colored lens. To date, I have only used the grey ones.

Je t’aime, Mon Chéri

To the love of my life. Happy Octennial Anniversary!

These are the only 见得光 photos from my first 2 flim rolls taken by fisheye. Be warned, this post is photo intensive.
Head big big, body small small. Are those slim arms mine? *grins* Duno why this photo turn out so “noisy” and pixelated. What went wrong?

Eiji’s bestie has returned from USA. To thank his bestie for lugging our (HIS!) loots back, we went for a meal at Matsuo Japanese Restaurant. This is my 3rd trip to Matsuo in 4 months; one too many. Disappointment was aplenty for this meal. They can say bye bye to this customer for the next few months [...]

Baby Blues to Baby Boom

Let’s move on to a happier post. Believe this topic has already been talked to death by potential concerned parents-to-be. The revised scheme should help couples better decide when they discuss family planning. I’m sold. We can only expect so much change within a short time.  Some people have unrealistic expectations of the goverment. They literally want Singapore to [...]

This word ruins the magic of the union of 2 hearts into 1 soul. If you ask me, it should be erased from one’s dictionary when he/she enters a marriage. I am aghast at how easily people can spit this word out these days. Have they forgotten the vows they had made down the aisle? Have they [...]

Professional BBQ-ing in progress.  Unlike us amateurs who BBQ sotong and stingray wrapped in alumimium foil, they cook on banana leaves! This is an excellent idea. The chicken wing was succulent and tasty! It was well marinated with lemon rind & juice, blended ginger and all the other secret ingredients.

Alvin, the birthday boy with the [...]
