Gowns I have chosen:
1) Kua
2) Outdoor Tube Gown with double frill trim skirting. Front of gown has delicate beaded applique. Back has translucent netting with lace details. Long flowy train with light embroidery at gown hem.
3) Photoshoot Evening Gown in rich red. It is a modernised cheongsam with hint of black lace around the mandarin collar. Splits at the thign on the right.
4) Actual Day royal purple mermaid-cut Evening Gown with diamante halter. Kick train style. Comes with a long mauve satin purple ribbon at the back to complete the look. I hope I make a statement during second march in with this gown.
5) Now, for the final and most important: Wedding Gown. It didn’t take the designer long to reveal THE GOWN to me. My panel of judges: Esther, my bestie and Eiji, my hubby.
- First: Extravagant glittery sequined lace top ballroom gown <– Thumbs down from both of them. They says it looks wayang on me.
- Second: Bustier bodice with crystal organza skirting <– Very light weight. But not impressive.
- Third: Embroided front top with back splitting to reveal champagne gold lace. <– Gorgeous! Was top 2nd in my list. Esther and Eiji both commented it looks great on me!
- Forth: Lace beaded empire top. Thai silk taffeta was twilled at the waist and formed the rest of the ballroom gown. Super light! Esther says it looks like a wedding cake =_=”
- Fifth: Ivan revealed he had an exclusive gown which he had earlier created a copy for a datuk’s daughter. Warned me that I had to top up a sum. The gown took months to create and cost much more than my entire package. I agreed to try on the gown. Once I was in the fitting room with Esther, I squealed: This is THE ONE!!! She agreed it is a stunner. Reasonably light weight, it should be worn with A line can can. The gown is a satin sweetheart bustier with overlapping netting of intricate embriodery, sequins, swarovski crystals all over at the right places especially from waist downwards. Very Ted Wu + Kai sort of creation. The husband has no choice but to agree, if not I’ll nag at him later so he says. I would have easily settled for the 3rd option but he does not believe me! Oh well, damage is done, pocket emptied.
Now, other than Leapin Lizards, is there anywhere elses I can customise a 5″ pair of white platforms?

Try Essex Walk or Ram’s Shop (Lucky Plaza).
