Zen’s groomer put her 15 year old dog on this. So without hesitation, I bought a packet!

Verdict?

Zen hates it because it smells very strongly of kale and he saw some suspecting bits here and there. What to do? My dog is 100% canivore. The only way I can get him to eat it is when it is 50% defrosted. The ice-cold state probably hid the raw vege taste. From the color, I bet it is at least 50% vegetable based. To add on, it’s really mushy. I can only imagine “how much” it will do for his teeth. Boise on the other hand, hates it to death. I cannot even get a morsel of it near him. He’s anti-dogfood!

Since Zen came to stay with in laws, he havn’t been getting much table scraps. So I’ve decided to let Primal be a supplement to Zen’s RMB+offal diet. Primal got my vote. One nugget a day keeps the vet away! I can’t wait to try the lamb and venison formula; for the vitamins and minerals in the grinded bone!
