Baby,
You’re all that I want to talk about these days! You have me twirled around your little fingers. I must be bewitched! You make your likes and dislikes clearly known to us. When you have enough of activity and wants to nap, you’ll let us know in the loudest manner. I would respond to your monosyllabus babbling and have a conversation. You do the weirdest thing with your tongue!
Zen loves you so much, baby. He’s always around you. He used to sleep between daddy and me but recently he insist on sleeping next to your cot. I believe that puppy dog wants to make you feel secure. He may be the reason why you have been sleeping so soundly.
I’m pleased with your physical development. Some mornings, we find that you have rotated 180 degree in bed. No way am I going to allow you on our bed if this keeps up. You begin to stare intently at a person before flashing your widest smile. You probably find our reaction amusing and would burst out giggling. Your sweetest smiles, however, seems to be reserved for yours truly. You have been growing so well on mummy’s milk that you have started wearing 6-9 months old clothings! You had a taste of TGIF’s top shelf mojito cocktail. Fantastic, isn’t it? I had frozen it intending for you to drink it when you are bigger. Although I’ve labelled it ALCOHOL, Grandma went ahead to feed you anyway. No more mee siam till my breastfeeding career is way over. There was one day I feast on mee siam and you broke out in a rash. When the day comes, I will definitely wallop 2 big bowls of it!
Your hands are all over the place these days. You have probably sensed we spent long hours looking at you sleep peacefully in the cot and figured this is the best way to shoo us away. You gum everything from clothes to arms but you have figured out the trusty and always available thumb tastes really good! And you can hold the rattle really steadily. You discovered you have feet too! You lift the hankie using your feet and then grab using your fingers. Intially, we thought it could be coincidence but it has been happening way too frequently.
Despite grandma’s procrastination, I insist on tummy time for you. And you are getting better and better with practice.
You bring such laughter into our lives, my young one.
Happy 3 months old and cheers to many more fruitful months to come.
Love,
Mama
